      @@Venom_Snake_is_literally_me no there are people who nitpick tiny things and say the writers were lazy when there’s a character flaw, but when a character is perfect they say: “he/she is a Gary Stew/Marry Sue.”

    I think casual audiences like myself just liked Ragnarok because we enjoyed it for what it was, blissfully unaware of what it could have been. I think that's okay, as long as audiences like those remain open-minded to the source material, and understand the perspectives of long-time audiences. I liked many films on first watch, but knowing what I do now, I can feel a good deal of disappointment that more wasn't done.

    Honestly, i believe that in the original miles story(the Ultimate universe) and the ps5 games, his adition is really weird and don't work, but in the movie, i believe that feeling is the whole point of the movie, as in the end of the movie, we see how miguel was right, he shouldn't be spiderman,he is an anomaly, that's why the spiderman in his universe died, cause theres just one, thats why the other universe was all fucked up, because the spider wasnt for him, but we see this from the angle of miles, who is just a teenager that didnt mean to harm anyone, but his existence does, and thats why i find that iteration of the character so compelling

    I am actually fine with fat thor because it makes sense that he would be devastated by all the losses he faced and his own failure of not being able to avenge those losses because he didn't go for the head the first time. It makes him seem a bit more human and the part with his mom was nice. Fat thor is a very visual representation of his grief and his inability to properly process those emotions because he's lived for so long but then suffered huge losses in basically the blink of an eye for a practically immortal god. But to go from that to love and thunder where he seems to have easily gotten rid of that grief because we spend no time actually developing him further is just awful. That movie also undermines the Avengers in a way because they were meant to be a team and also should've had more team interaction moments outside of just fighting but instead he just randomly gets placed with the guardians of the galaxy because that's a "better fit" when he spent so many movies saying that he was Earth's hero and that Earth was like home to him too. With Cap and Ironman gone, why would he leave???

    Your conclusion is perfect. What was done with the MCU was amazing and unheard of. There was a few issues and mistakes which were originally unavoidable. However, they should have mastered the formula over time, instead of degrading it. I still can't wrap my head around how cheap the writing can get for 200M$ blockbusters.

      Indeed, the worst part is your comment ALSO could aply to his DC counterpart, The Arrowverse The little mistakes the shows got at the beginning like the cheesy moments & the filler episodes ended up escalated to the point of making almost all the content UNWATCHABLE

    Age of Ultron is the first Marvel movie that bored me. There is so much going, so many characters, so little development or distinctive traits for each of these characters. The big battle at the end goes on and on... Ultron was forgettable, Vision was forgettable despite sticking around for several movies - I couldn't even tell what made him special when he died in Infinity Wars. The Nazi guy was so forgettable I didn't even know he was in it. The Maximov twins... meh. I know they were there because I knew them from the comics and cartoons. They had no personnality outside of "we have powers and we hate Stark".

    The MCU's biggest villain problem is that they fundamentally don't understand the role of the villain in a story. Villains are supposed to be threatening as well as being the motivation for the hero to go on his hero's journey and eventually overcome them(or not if you wish to make a darker story). In the MCU the villains are used merely as name recognition to put butts into seats so to speak and than to add insult to injury give them redemption arcs. Don't get me wrong, some villains can absolutely be redeemed, however they must not have done utterly atrocious things and also the redemption needs to serve a purpose, like turning them into heroes. Redemption arcs for redemption arc's sake, or merely to garner sympathy from the audience, simply destroys that specific villain and cheapens the universe as a whole. Also, am I the only one who thought that in Black Panther the real villain was actually white America rather than Killmonger? I mean after all the movie ended that cringe scene from a black ghetto neighborhood and the whole Killmonger was right, black people should unite. That whole ending utterly destroyed Killmonger as a villain and if anything turned Black Panther into the villain for continuing to keep Wakanda isolated and with it denying black people's ability to rise up or whatever the writers actually intended that ending to be. As for Captain Marvel, the real villain was the Patriarchy, which was also the villain for basically all of phase 4.

    This has been my biggest gripe. I'd say for maybe 3 or 4 movies he acted more or less like Thor from the comics especially in the first part of the first Avengers movie and the 1st and 2nd Thor movies, BUT making a character who's more serious than Batman on a bad day and that's just Thor's baseline into the comic relief sucked so much. Thor is a top 5 all time favorite comic book character of mine. Up there with Thanos, Lucifer Morningstar, Batman, and The Living Tribunal but yeah Disney and Marvel let's just nuetor one of the best comic book characters ever. Cool I f#cking guess. Deadpool is 6th

    It would have been interesting for Ultron to have been created by Tony as a defense in the case he was killed. Only to be unleashed after endgame and for Kang to be the one so stop him, pretending to be a hero and then “going back to his time” only to stay in the shadows and start building his empire.

  • @Case2_0
    @Case2_0 4 дня назад

    The Chitauri would have worked better as a “kill-switch” villain if they leaned more into a cybernetic enhanced design. Like, instead of the arm falling out of the gun after Cap slices the arm off, have a few sparks barely noticeable on the stump. Just have them be a people who were made into killing machines that they didn’t want rebelling so they just die if they destroy their controller, which the Avengers accidentally accomplished.

    I think that Spider-Man fans just can’t move on. Y’all don’t want to see Peter change, and y’all also don’t want to see him restart. Y’all want to continue to see him struggle which shows that y’all don’t care about the character at all. It’s probably why Marvel/Sony stopped listening to y’all. It’s confusing. Let the character grow, then allow him to stay that way. Y’all are the “algorithm” the spider verse movie was talking about.

  • @protol5683

    Most of the villains that got fumbled throughout the MCU I don’t see as a MASSIVE loss. It’s a shame that so many of these guys had such cool designs and personalities that got totally junked for the sake of another big grey punching bag, but it’s almost necessary to a certain degree. Through being one huge interconnected world, every MCU movie has A LOT to do with it’s runtime and there’s not always room for a big bad guy in there. In order to make Thanos as stand-out as he was, he had to be set up and teased in a dozen films, along with Infinity War and Endgame being longer than Ulysses. If every major Marvel Gillian got the development and screen time they deserved, nearly every MCU film would have to be 3 god forsaken hours to accommodate them. I will say, however, that after learning how fucking cool Zeemo sounds in the comics and cartoons, I’m kinda mad that he wasn’t given that accommodation.

    I don't know, I think the brutality of the Hulk/Abomination fight honestly works in it's favor, since that was by far the grittiest MCU film in the series, so it made since for it to just be an all-out violent brawl.
